Anne Curtis

Anne Curtis Smith, a Filipino Australian model actress television host and record artist, has been awarded numerous accolades during her career. This includes two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award and two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. She was also recognized twice in the Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis has appeared in a number of TV show, among them Hiram Kuba, Kampanerang (2005), Maging Sino Ka Man Dyosa (2008) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013). She played Dyesebel, the Komiks symbol in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Her other roles include hosting the popular midday show It's Showtime between 2009 and 2020. Anne Curtis was born in Melbourne, Australia on the 17th of February 1985. She is a Filipina and an Australian actor. Through her lengthy career, she has won numerous awards including the two FAMAS Awards two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards as well as five PMPC Star Awards. Curtis has been nominated in addition for Eight PMPC Star Awards, two Gawad Urian Awards and also for an award at the Gawad Urian Award. She also appeared in 2014 as she portrayed the Komiks character Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Other roles include hosting the show that aired at midday, Showtime from 2009-2020. Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina originally from Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith who is an Australian attorney. Curtis was born in Yarrawonga located in Victoria, Australia. Her father was married to Ojales when she was a teenager in the year 1982. The younger sister Jasmine is also an actress. Clare was a mother-in-law in their father's side. Clare passed away at the age of the age of four in 2007.
