Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is a famous American actress. Kellie Martin has appeared in numerous TV shows like "Christy" which is a story of a girl named Christy Huddleston. Other notable roles include the lead role in The Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin, the daughter of a department-store purchaser and kindergarten teacher began her career as an actress at age seven, when her aunt who worked as the nanny of actor Michael Landon's children helped Martin get a part in the 1982 series "Father Murphy". When she completed her studies at Yale University in 1982, Martin decided to pursue her acting career more seriously. She landed significant roles on TV as well as on the big screen. Martin has also been an artist and photographer. She is a mother of two. she's the official spokesperson for Lupus and has been spreading awareness regarding the disease following the death of her sister at just 19.
